New Educate Together school for Carpenterstown

A new Educate Together school is planned for the Carpenterstown area and promoters of the project are hopeful that the new school will be open in September of this year.

To further advance the project Carpenterstown Educate Together will be holding an information meeting and pre-enrolment launch on Saturday 19th January in the Castleknock Hotel at 11.00 a.m.

According to Amy Mulvihill, New Schools Officer for Educate Together, “the meeting will include a short presentation from Educate Together followed by questions and answers. It will be followed directly by the pre-enrolment launch where parents/guardians will have the opportunity to pre-enrol their children in the proposed new school. Throughout the morning there will also be an information desk where any of your queries can be answered.”

All ages and years can be pre-enrolled at the launch. According to Amy “this will not be binding on either side but if the school opens, places will be awarded on a first come first served basis, in the order in which they were pre-enrolled.”
